BOUNDARY AND TOPOGRAPHIC SURVEYS
Boundary and topographic surveys are an everyday project
for the Survey Division of Allen Engineering.
We pride ourselves in the accuracy of our survey crews.
No project is too tough to
handle and we range from small acre tract
surveys on the Ocean to massive inland tracts.
Several of our more recent surveys were a 40,000 acre boundary survey for
the new Town of Viera where we reestablished all the section corners and located
wetlands through a majority of the tract; a 1,800 acre boundary and
topographic survey for Poinsett Lake Development where we also located the
wetlands; and, a 14,000 acre survey for Duda Farms in conjunction with the St.
John’s River Management District, where we not only staked the boundary, but
also cleared and monument it at 600 foot intervals.
On several of our hospital projects we were asked to
provide the visual topographic information, as well as locate any covered
utility lines. We have been using
GPS equipment for 11 years and find it invaluable in our work.
