HERITAGE HIGH SCHOOL

Completed in the summer of 2009, this 2,384 student school is the newest high school in the Brevard County school system.  Located at the west end of Malabar Road in Palm Bay, Florida, it was constructed with an enhanced hurricane protection area (EHPA).  Amenities on this 66.1 acre site include a football field, track, baseball field, softball field, tennis courts, parking, driver’s education course, and bus compound.  Stormwater management is provided by a 20-ft deep wet detention pond.  The project also required a 0.5 mile extension of the water and sewer, as well as a 0.75 mile extension of Malabar Road.
