More Project NewsHeritage High School in Palm Bay, Florida, the newest AEI school project in the Brevard County School System, opened for the 2009 – 2010 school year on August 10th, 2009. This $80 million school features an enhanced hurricane protection area (EHPA) in addition to regular school amenities. |
AEI NewsAllen Engineering is beginning its 11th year associated with the Space Coast Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). During our 11 years, we have helped raise close to $225,000 in scholarships and endowments. MEADOWLANE SCHOOLS
The Meadowlane/Central school site is an 80-acre project in West Melbourne along Wingate Boulevard. The site consists of three independent schools – Meadowlane Primary, Meadowlane Intermediate, and Central Middle. The newest of the three schools is Meadowlane Intermediate. Completed for the 2007-2008 school year, the 988 student Meadowlane Intermediate includes an enhanced hurricane protection area (EHPA), and a central energy plant to serve all three schools. The project included significant improvements to Wingate Boulevard and Minton Road, plus a perimeter bus loop to access each school.
