More Project NewsHeritage High School in Palm Bay, Florida, the newest AEI school project in the Brevard County School System, opened for the 2009 – 2010 school year on August 10th, 2009. This $80 million school features an enhanced hurricane protection area (EHPA) in addition to regular school amenities. |
AEI NewsAllen Engineering is beginning its 11th year associated with the Space Coast Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME). During our 11 years, we have helped raise close to $225,000 in scholarships and endowments. We are extremely proud to be associated with SAME and its continued commitment to offer opportunities for students pursuing careers in the engineering field. |
MEDICAL FACILITIES
Allen Engineering has been involved with the surveying, site design and/or permitting of facility development expansion for two major health service systems, Health First and Wuesthoff. This includes the Cape Canaveral Hospital, which is a 20± acre site located on submerged land in the Banana River Lagoon, as well as a 43 acre site in Melbourne, Florida for a Wuesthoff hospital. Cape Canaveral Hospital's facility expansion included a parking garage, a helistop, and a medical office plaza. Other medical facilities projects involved a two-story medical office/clinic building in Cocoa Beach, Florida, and an adult assisted living facility in Viera, Florida.
