QUALIFICATIONSALLEN ENGINEERING, INC. has been providing engineering and surveying services throughout Florida since 1963. Our history has been marked by stability. The staff includes on its staff seven key members who have been with the company for more than twelve years. The Company has continued to serve the public sectors, including the cities of Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral, Brevard County and the Brevard County School Board. Allen Engineering’s experience in the private sector includes fast food outlets, shopping centers, recreational facilities, professional office buildings, industrial facilities, hotels, restaurants, single-family subdivisions and multi-family condominium complexes. The Engineering and Surveying Departments include three Florida Registered Engineers, three senior engineers, three Registered Land Surveyors, three field crews, and CAD designers. Principals of Allen Engineering hold engineering and/or surveying registrations in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Virginia.
ENVIRONMENTAL PERMITTING: Since Allen Engineering has a detailed understanding and long experience with environmental rules and concerns, our engineering is designed to meet these rules. We have been working with regulatory agencies over a period of time and have developed a structured format for information that is submitted along with permit applications. Since the material always appears in a uniform format, it makes it easy for the agency to receive it and speeds up the permitting process, again saving time. Due to the staff’s knowledge of the rules of environmental regulatory agencies, Allen Engineering has been successful in advising clients on making minor changes to their planned use of the property to avoid costly permitting exercises.
SURVEYING: Allen Engineering offers the latest in surveying technology. Our use of data collectors, global positioning systems (G.P.S.) and computer aided design and drafting (CAD) ensures accurate, cost effective survey and mapping projects for our clients, Our surveying team handles aerial control, as-built surveys, ALTA/ACSM land title surveys, boundary surveys, horizontal controls, wetland delineations, along with subdivision platting.
