Some of the tracts Allen Engineering, Inc. surveys have pristine trees in abundance. Rather than clear the site, governing agencies have legislated that these trees be saved, replaced or relocated. In order to do this, the trees have to be located and listed by type, diameter, height and sometimes canopy size. We have purchased special bush cutting equipment to better access and measure these trees. Recently, we have completed surveying projects with large counts of trees that had to be located-Hampton Inn Phase 1 and 2 had 535 trees, Resort on Cocoa Beach had 302, Solana Development had 14,334 trees.
